CIT hosts RFET–Generali agreement with Led Projects tennis court lighting

March 5, 2026

Led Projects has completed a new indoor tennis court lighting installation at the Club Internacional de Tenis (CIT) in Madrid, an iconic venue once again at the centre of national tennis activity.

On 5 March, CIT hosted a particularly significant event for Spanish tennis with the announcement of the strategic partnership between the Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET) and Generali, aimed at driving the development of the sport over the next three years. The event brought together RFET President Miguel Díaz Román, Generali España CEO Carlos Escudero Segura, and national team captains David Ferrer and Carla Suárez, among other leading figures from the sport.

Our intervention ensured that the venue delivered lighting conditions aligned with the technical demands of the event, contributing to its execution with full technical reliability. The solution applied to the indoor tennis courts is based on lighting uniformity, glare control and visual stability—key factors both for play and for the overall perception of the space.

The day also featured a highly symbolic highlight: for the first time outside RFET headquarters, the 11 world champion trophies—six Davis Cups and five Billie Jean King Cups—were on display, reinforcing the historic significance of the event.

At Led Projects, we value the initiatives driven by this agreement, which are focused on strengthening the structure of Spanish tennis. At the same time, we are pleased to see how our installation contributed to ensuring that the setting for this important milestone was supported by lighting that met its technical standards, enhancing both the event itself and the overall experience of the venue.
