Updated information on LED lighting
Led Projects strengthens its commitment to tennis lighting with ATP player Nikolás Sánchez Izquierdo
The Spanish tennis player joins Led Projects as a brand ambassador, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to tennis lighting, a field in which it has been delivering projects since 2018 and which represents one of its key growth areas for the years ahead.
Tennis is playing an increasingly important role in Led Projects’ growth strategy. To strengthen this commitment, we are proud to welcome ATP player Nikolás Sánchez Izquierdo as our new brand ambassador, reflecting our ambition to continue expanding in a sport where we already have extensive experience.
While our journey has been closely linked to padel, where we are the Official Lighting Supplier to the International Padel Federation (FIP), we have been delivering tennis lighting projects for sports facilities and national and international tournaments for many years.
Since 2018, we have completed projects including the lighting of the Club Internacional de Tenis (CIT) in Madrid, the Lyttos Sports Centre in Crete (Greece), and the centre court of the Open Menorca ATP Challenger 100, where we have been the tournament’s technology partner for the 2025 and 2026 editions. These projects form part of our extensive experience in international sports lighting projects, delivering tailored lighting solutions designed to meet the specific requirements of each venue.
The expertise we have built over the years has enabled us to transfer our specialist knowledge of sports lighting to tennis, developing projects that prioritise lighting uniformity, visual comfort, energy efficiency and compliance with the standards required for professional competition.
The appointment of Nikolás Sánchez Izquierdo comes at a time when both the player and our company are entering an exciting new phase of development.
In June 2026, the Barcelona-born player achieved the highest ATP ranking of his career (World No. 215), claimed his first Challenger title in Ostrava (Czech Republic) and made his debut in the Wimbledon qualifying draw. These milestones follow several successful seasons on the ITF Tour, where he has won twelve titles.
His appointment reflects a partnership built on shared values including commitment, ambition, continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.
As Juan Antonio Pérez, CEO of Led Projects, explains:
“Tennis is not new to us. We have been lighting leading clubs and tournaments for years. What has changed is that we now see it as one of our main growth areas, and Nikolás is the perfect ambassador because he represents the values that define us: commitment, ambition and continuous progress.”
Nikolás Sánchez Izquierdo adds:
“It is a real honour to represent a brand that has been lighting top-level sports venues for many years and is now making tennis one of its strategic priorities. I identify with their ambition, their attention to detail and their constant drive to improve, and I am excited to be part of this new chapter.”
With this new partnership, we are strengthening our commitment to tennis while giving fresh momentum to a strategic area that will continue to grow in the coming years. Our goal is to keep developing sports lighting solutions for clubs, academies, sports centres and elite competitions, combining innovation and technical excellence in every project.
