Led Projects strengthens its UK expansion through a strategic partnership with Target Sports
Led Projects has announced a strategic distribution agreement with UK-based company Target Sports, reinforcing its expansion in one of Europe’s fastest-growing padel markets through a partnership built on expertise, market knowledge and a shared vision for the sport’s development.
The agreement positions Target Sports as a key partner for Led Projects in the United Kingdom and globally, combining one of the most specialised lighting solutions in the padel industry with a team deeply engaged in the international growth of racket sports.
Founded and led by Philip Pereira and Jonny Palling, Target Sports brings extensive experience in international business development, commercial strategy and sports infrastructure. Both partners have built a strong global network across sport and media, working closely with operators, investors and governing bodies, and actively contributing to the expansion of padel in both emerging and established markets.
This context creates a natural alignment with Led Projects, a company exclusively focused on the design and development of professional sports lighting systems. With more than 7,500 padel courts illuminated worldwide, Led Projects has established itself as a technical benchmark in the sector, delivering solutions specifically engineered to meet the visual demands of the game.
The partnership represents a clear win-win scenario. For Target Sports, it provides the opportunity to offer a premium lighting solution that is not only technically advanced, but also validated at the highest level of the sport, following Led Projects’ designation as Official Lighting Supplier of the International Padel Federation (FIP).
For Led Projects, the agreement ensures its systems are represented by a partner with deep market knowledge, strong commercial capabilities and direct access to key stakeholders within the padel ecosystem.
The sustained growth of padel across the United Kingdom, Europe and globally is driving demand for facilities that meet professional standards, both in terms of playing experience and long-term performance. In this context, lighting is a critical element, directly impacting visibility, visual comfort, safety and the overall perception of quality in any installation.
Led Projects’ approach is based on the development of sport-specific optics and tailored configurations for each project, ensuring uniform lighting across the entire court, glare control and optimal playing conditions. All systems comply with UNE-EN 12193 and UNE 147201 standards, and include ETL certification, enabling their implementation in international markets such as the United States and Canada, as well as in environments designed for broadcast.
Led Projects will also be present as a Gold Sponsor at the British Padel Awards 2026, one of the key events in the UK padel calendar. The agreement with Target Sports further strengthens its local positioning, ensuring a solid brand presence through a trusted and well-established partner.
This partnership reflects a shared ambition: to contribute to the development of padel infrastructures that meet the highest standards, combining technical excellence with a deep understanding of how the sport is played and experienced.
