Updated information on LED lighting
Led Projects appointed FIP Official Lighting Supplier
The International Padel Federation (FIP) and Led Projects have formalised an agreement under which Led Projects is officially designated as FIP Official Lighting Supplier, a recognition that consolidates a long-standing collaboration across the leading international stages of padel.
The formalisation of this relationship represents a strategic step forward for both FIP and Led Projects. Both organisations had already been working closely together in competitions endorsed by the sport’s governing body. With this designation, more than a decade of experience delivering lighting for high-level tournaments, where technical and broadcast requirements are at their highest, is now formally recognised.
Our CEO, José Antonio Pérez Gómez, highlights the significance of the agreement: “For us, reaching an agreement with FIP is extremely important, as we are talking about the leading institution in the world of padel, not only at a professional level, but also across amateur and industrial contexts.”
At Led Projects, we emphasise that this recognition does not mark the beginning of a collaboration, but rather the formalisation of an already well-established relationship. Over recent years, we have delivered lighting solutions for numerous international competitions, applying systems specifically developed for padel courts to ensure lighting uniformity, visual precision, glare control and compatibility with high-demand broadcast environments.
With more than 6,500 sports installations illuminated worldwide, Led Projects has established itself as an international benchmark in specialised padel lighting. Our technical expertise, developed at the highest level of competition, has also been transferred to clubs, federations and international projects, helping to raise quality standards across sports facilities globally.

In this context, José Antonio Pérez Gómez also underlines the key role played by FIP in the structured growth of the sport: “Padel is experiencing unprecedented global expansion, and it is essential that this growth is led by FIP. It is the organisation that has successfully driven the sport through major agreements and tournaments, both professional and amateur, while also advancing in education and the development of new generations of players.”
One of the aspects we consider essential at Led Projects in this new phase is the need to move forward in the standardisation and regulation of courts and technical infrastructure. “It is crucial to establish and comply with minimum quality standards, not only for professional tournaments, but also for clubs and academies. Courts must be certified and meet minimum requirements in terms of safety and functionality. Otherwise, the overall development of the padel industry is compromised,” our CEO adds.
The designation as FIP Official Lighting Supplier strengthens Led Projects’ international positioning and highlights lighting as a structural element in the professionalisation of padel. It is not simply about achieving specific illuminance levels (lux), but about developing dedicated systems that integrate sport-specific optics, light pollution control, stability for slow-motion broadcasting and solutions adapted to top-tier competition environments.
At Led Projects, we view this agreement as a natural step within our strategy of technical specialisation and continuous innovation. Its formalisation marks the beginning of a new phase of coordinated work with the International Padel Federation, focused on defining technical standards and certified solutions that will further enhance the quality of competitions and facilities worldwide.
With this designation, we reaffirm our commitment to the sustainable and structured growth of padel, supporting FIP in the challenge of consolidating an international model based on quality, regulation and technical excellence.
